Another tip would be to not issue codes with short 1-2 day expiry dates, alot of these just simply get ignored by me, particularly for a merchant who i don't already have listed on the site.

This doesn't work because they release the code in the 3rd week but they still get it to expire on the 31st.

That should be your next tip. Stop having codes expire on the 31st.
